The Gibbs trio consists of Fiona and her twin brothers Mark and Iain. They are originally from Eastbourne, on the South Coast of England. Fiona and Iain play the violin in the trio and Mark plays the viola. They have been performing as a trio for ten years and play a wide range of music, from Baroque and Classical to Romantic and modern.

Fiona Gibbs, 26, is currently involved in research for her PhD in Music at the Royal College of Music. Fiona is regularly invited to speak about her research in London, most recently at Imperial College and at the Royal Albert Hall. She has recently become involved as a researcher and interviewer with a project concerning cultural emigrees from Nazi Germany.

Mark Gibbs, 23, is freelancing as a viola player across London and the South East. Mark has recently been offered a professional position in the Macao Orchestra in China and he is learning German as he prepares to study in Berlin in the future.

Iain Gibbs, 23, is undertaking a Master's in Music at the Royal College of Music. Iain recently performed the Beethoven Violin Concerto with Havering Symphony Orchestra. He is leader of the Young Musician's Symphony Orchestra and Orchestra Vitae and recently completed a series of projects with the BBC Symphony Orchestra.

The Gibbs Trio has played at a number of high-profile venues including the Landmark Hotel, Marylebone, the Queen's House in Grenwich and the Gherkin. They perform regularly at the Underground Theatre in Eastbourne, St. Mary's Church, Willingdon and at All Hallows by the Tower, London.

They are available for hire at weddings and corporate events.
